Student Assistant - Beijing Health Team

The Danish Embassy in Beijing is looking for a Student Assistant for our Health Team in the Trade Council.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing is looking for a Chinese student assistant for the Health Team to assist with solving both analytical and translation tasks in a cross-cultural environment.

The Health Team is part of the Trade Council at the Embassy. We advise Danish companies and organizations on their strategy for penetrating the attractive but complex Chinese market and assist on the practical implementation.

    Job Description

    Your job will be to assist the Health Team in solving tasks within a broad spectrum of health-related topics such as public health, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc. 

    Main work tasks include:

  • Data collection
  • Translation work
  • Contribution to and participation in writing reports
  • Contribution to execute VIP meetings and on-going cases
  • Information collection for planning of high level visits between Danish companies and Chinese authorities or companies
  • Ad hoc assignments.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    The job is open for applicants who are currently at the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate or enrolled in a postgraduate program.

    We prefer you to have the following qualifications:

  • Excellent command in English both in writing and speaking
  • Studies related to the health sector is considered an asset
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Good overviewing and planning skills as well as an ability to sense important details
  • Structured approach to assignments

 

Practical info

  • Working hours: Around 20 hours per week in office (working hours will be planned with the team leader)
  • Duration: We strongly prefer long-term commitment (preferably minimum 12 months)
  • Interviews will take place in April 2025
  • Location: Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing, 1 Dongwujie, Sanlitun, Chaoyang, Beijing
